{"id":540,"date":"2014-11-17T19:04:56","date_gmt":"2014-11-17T18:04:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mapiedesvignes.com\/?p=540"},"modified":"2025-01-30T11:44:51","modified_gmt":"2025-01-30T10:44:51","slug":"empreinte-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mapiedesvignes.com\/art-textile-ecologique-toulouse\/en\/empreinte-2\/","title":{"rendered":"imprint. technique"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I discovered this technique during a workshop given by Fabienne Dorsman-Rey, directly linked to the work of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiaflint.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Australian artist India Flint.<\/a><br \/>\nPreviously, there had been this exhibition, of the magazine BLOOM n\u00b020-teinture by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edelkoort.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lidewij Edelkoort<\/a>, at the Fondation \u00c9cureuil in Toulouse. The work of India Flint was part of it.<\/p>\n<p>The technique consists in putting leaves or plants on a natural fabric (silk, wool, cotton, linen&#8230;), plunging it in a plant bath and revealing it after 3 weeks.<br \/>\nThe results are unique.<\/p>\n<p>I practice the imprint, as a real dialogue with the plant : I communicate, ask permission, thank &#8230; as a \u00ab\u00a0meditation\u00a0\u00bb, being myself in peace, to allow the transfer of energy from the plant to the support.<\/p>\n<p>STUDIO<\/p>\n<p>[metaslider id=103]<\/p>\n<p>It&rsquo;s a \u00ab\u00a0job\u00a0\u00bb, but I&rsquo;m so close to nature, it&rsquo;s always very enjoyable !<\/p>\n<p>CREATIONS<\/p>\n<p>[metaslider id=167]<\/p>\n<p>And I always have a real joy when I unroll the bundles (the rolled fabrics prepared for the bath) and discover these wonders.<\/p>\n<p>DETAILS OF IMPRINTS<\/p>\n<p>[metaslider id=168]<\/p>\n<p>I use, in priority, second hand fabrics (except for<a href=\"https:\/\/mapiedesvignes.com\/en\/vert-soi-2\/\"> my Vert Soi workshops<\/a>), plants already on the ground or recovered from a florist.
