I propose to spend a half day in nature, to reconnect with oneself and with Nature by means of contact print process. At the end of this shared moment, you go back with your own bundle* … Which you will undo/unroll three weeks later…
I will provide the fabric that you will use. It will have been prepared to receive the dyeing and the different plants. Most of the time it will be a piece of silk, wool or a silk/wool blend, 200 x 70 cm in size.
*bundle : fabric on which you have gathered plants then rolled and tied .

9h00 to 13h00 (schedules may change)
Small introduction at the meeting place.
At the workshop : harmonization with the place and oneself.
Reconnaissance of the place and gathering** of the plants for the dye bath… to be heated up in a cauldron
Tea break for an explanation of the contact print process.
“suspended time” for oneself… Gathering of your “personal” plants… Making of the bundles and dye bath.

**During the gathering, please pick up what does not belong to nature as well … It’s an exchange. Thank you …
Practical information
Depending on the place of the worshop and where from the participants are coming I would suggest we carpool.
The Toulouse workshops take place in the park of the woodpecker in Clermont Le Fort. (see the map at the bottom of the page).
